Inspiration: Summers are certainly one of my favorite times of year with the amount of sunshine and blue skies in the Pacific Northwest. I love watching the dragon flies dance on the surface of water - from local lakes to alpine lakes tucked high in the mountains. This painting is inspired by that summer feeling and the dance of the dragon flies.
